DESCRIPTION

A woman is standing, in profile to right. Her hair is pulled up into a bun. Her dress has narrow sleeves, a close-fitting bodice and a skirt gathered at the back below her hips and falling into a short train to left.

SITTER

Not identified. Possibly Maud Franklin (1857- ca 1941) or Alice Fay Greaves (b. 1852).
