Two states are known before cancellation.

State 1

Impression: K1830001
Signed with a butterfly at lower left.
With scraper marks at the four corners and on the sky and water in the foreground; the outlines of figures are faintly visible at the centre, between the two widely spaced poles.
The scraper marks are less prominent on most impressions (i.e. Graphic with a link to impression #K1830107).

State 2

Impression: K1830102
The scraper marks have been burnished off, and those areas of the plate are clean.

State 2 (cancelled)

Impression: K1830203
Cancelled with two horizontal lines, crossed diagonal lines, and a series of diagonal zigzag lines.
