The copper plate has not been located. It was close in size to The Young Tree [285], Windsor (Memorial) [313], Binding the Hair [334] and Fish Women, Ostend [349].
It was almost certainly printed after Whistler's death, possibly by Mortimer Luddington Menpes (1860-1938). In a draft catalogue of Whistler's etchings, Joseph Pennell (1860-1926) wrote that Menpes owned the plate. 5
