The copper plate of Annie is almost exactly the same size as Portrait of Whistler [5] and The Slipper [43], and a later etching, Whistler with the White Lock [162].
The plate was steel-faced but not cancelled. It was acquired by Charles Lang Freer (1856-1919) in 1906. It is now in the Freer Gallery of Art. 6
