Print tone:The print tone is uneven and dark. It is particularly dark in the upper right half (if etching diagonally split), although it is wiped very cleanly in the doorway and window. In the lower left half of the composition there is a medium plate tone.  
Note on foul biting:There is pitting around the gondola.  
Print note:The paper is slightly creased from the printing process. There is reticulation of ink in the foreground and at the sides. There are diagonal wipe marks at the left side.
