Print note:"soft" irregular lines near beams at upper left corner, visible in 189.312 (state I) are weaker but still visible in this impression; file or vise mark at lower left corner prints strongly; drypoint and/or retroussage produce inky lines on beams at left; this impression is apparently earlier than 1894.37 (also state II), where scratches do not print and file/vise mark is less prominent
