Note on foul biting:specks and flecks overall, particularly at the edges and corners; there is a blob at the left edge. There is an area of cloth/scrim/regular texture at bottom left.  
Print note:Note the extra textured area below the rowboat at left, the short angular lines above, crossing the reflection of the schooner, and the mostly obliterated pointed stern of the barge at left. There are faint traces of a different barge behind the nearest boat. There may be drypoint strengthening of the Thames barge sails in front of Black Lion Wharf itself.
