Note on foul biting:scrim marks at lower left; other smaller sections of foul biting in sky and grass. A large area bounded by a firm line where acid resistant varnished was used. A big dot above keft of parasol.  
Print note:A line in the foreground where the stopping-out varnish was applied; plus the lines of two earlier different compositions evident, one a head, seen to right of the figure. Note near vertical scratch above hatbox, and at right.
