Henry Walters was a collector, a friend of G. A. Lucas, and founder of the Walters Art Gallery, Baltimore, MD.

Life:

Lucas gave Portrait of George A. Lucas y355 to Walters in 1908. In 1931 Waslters bequeathed his collection (begun by his father William T. Walters during the 1850s) and his gallery, completed in 1909, to the city of Baltimore.
