Charles Sydenham Haden was a London merchant and collector.

Life:

The son of Charles Thomas Haden (1786-1823) and Emma Harrison, he married Mary Love Boott. They were relatives by marriage with Whistler and appear to have lived at Lyons, a silk manufacturing centre. An autograph letter from Daria Haden to Joseph Whistler Revillon mentions Charles Haden, Rosie Boot [sic], Belle and Mary Boot [sic] and gives general family background information.

Haden owned a complete set of Whistler's French Set of etchings on chine collé, which was sold at auction at Sotheby's in London on 18 November 1931 (lot 103).
