Charles B. Eddy was a New York lawyer and print collector.

Life:

Eddy's collection included etchings by Rembrandt and Whistler (see K1880z06 and K2040104). In 1920 loans from his print collection were made to an exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Around this time Eddy also lent 39 etchings and lithographs by Degas, Forain and Pissarro and four engravings by Schongauer to the Fogg Art Museum. His collection was sold at the American Art Association, New York, on 17 January 1926.
